That’s a pretty outrageous statistic. It’s hard to believe that so many people were forced into solitary confinement just because of one person being symptomatic and treated for COVID-19. We need to do better in order to protect the health and safety of everyone, not just those who are symptomatic or have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to practice social distancing, wear a face mask when in public, wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your face, cover coughs and sneezes, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home if you are feeling sick.
