Frontline Nurse Speaks Out About Lethal Protocols

Q: What inspired you to write your book?

A: I was inspired to write my book because of the countless stories of neglect and fraud that I witnessed while working at Elmhurst Hospital Center. As a nurse, it was my duty to provide the best care possible for my patients, but I quickly realized that this was not always the case. The hospital was understaffed and lacked basic supplies, which led to unnecessary deaths and suffering among patients. Additionally, there were instances of fraud and negligence that put patients in danger. It became clear to me that something had to be done about these issues, so I decided to share my story in hopes of bringing attention to the problems at Elmhurst Hospital Center and inspiring change.

  • Nurse Erin Marie Olszewski blew the whistle on the horrific maltreatment of COVID-19 patients at Elmhurst Hospital Center, a public hospital in Queens, New York that was the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.
  • Elmhurst did not isolate COVID-positive from untested patients, instead rooming them together, thereby ensuring maximum spread of the disease
  • Some patients who tested negative for COVID-19 were listed as positive and placed on mechanical ventilation, thus artificially inflating the case numbers while condemning the patient to death from lung injury
  • One such case involved a male patient admitted for high blood glucose, which is easily remedied and under no circumstance would require ventilation
  • Some of the doctors treating COVID-19 patients at Elmhurst were first-year residents who were treating without supervision. Most also ignored the expert advice of more experienced nursing staff, choosing to use patients as test subjects and “cash cows†instead

Q: What inspired you to become a nurse and serve in the military?

A: I was inspired to become a nurse because I wanted to help people. I had always been interested in healthcare, but it wasn’t until I joined the Army that I decided to pursue nursing as a career. Serving in the military gave me an opportunity to use my skills and knowledge to help others while also serving my country. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and one that has shaped who I am today.

Q: What was it like working at Elmhurst Hospital Center during the pandemic?

A: Working at Elmhurst Hospital Center during the pandemic was both challenging and rewarding. It was difficult seeing so many patients suffering from COVID-19, but it was also inspiring to see how everyone came together to provide care for those in need. We worked long hours, often with limited resources, but we never stopped fighting for our patients. It was an incredible experience that will stay with me forever.

The book, Undercover Epicenter Nurse: How Fraud, Negligence, and Greed Led to Unnecessary Deaths at Elmhurst Hospital, was written by nurse and whistleblower Sandra Lindsay. It is a firsthand account of her experiences working in the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York. The book details how fraud, negligence, and greed led to unnecessary deaths at the hospital and how she fought for change.

After completing her training, she was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. During her deployments, she served as a medic and worked with the wounded. She also provided medical care to local civilians in need of assistance.

Olszewski’s experience in the military has shaped her life and career. After leaving the military, she attended college and earned a degree in nursing. She now works as a registered nurse at a hospital in Wisconsin.

In addition to her work as a nurse, Olszewski is an advocate for veterans’ rights and mental health awareness. She is involved with several organizations that help veterans transition back into civilian life after their service ends. She also speaks publicly about her experiences in the military and encourages others to seek help if they are struggling with mental health issues or PTSD.

Olszewski’s story is an inspiring example of how one person can make a difference in the lives of many people. Her dedication to helping others shows that it is possible to overcome adversity and use your experiences to make a positive impact on the world around you.

This statistic was shocking to me, and I remember thinking that if we could get more nurses into the healthcare system, we could reduce the number of deaths caused by medical errors. This thought has stayed with me ever since, and it’s why I’m so passionate about nursing today. My friend’s experience in Iraq only further reinforced my belief that nurses are essential to providing quality care and saving lives.

The article sparked a national conversation about the dangers of prescription drugs and their potential side effects.

Dr. Holtzman’s statement highlights the need for reform in the American healthcare system. The current system is too expensive and does not provide adequate care to those who cannot afford it. This has led to preventable deaths, such as Barbara’s, and a lack of access to basic medical services for many people. To ensure that everyone has access to quality healthcare, we must make changes to our system that prioritize affordability and safety.

In 2020, the death rate for medical errors was estimated to be as high as 251,454—a staggering number that is more than double the previous estimate. This means that medical errors are now the third leading cause of death in the United States, behind only heart disease and cancer.

The causes of these medical errors vary widely, but some of the most common include misdiagnosis or delayed diagnosis, medication errors, surgical mistakes, and communication breakdowns between healthcare providers. These issues can be exacerbated by a lack of resources or training for healthcare professionals, as well as inadequate oversight and accountability measures.

It’s clear that something needs to be done to address this growing problem. Healthcare organizations must prioritize patient safety by investing in better training and technology for their staff, implementing stronger oversight protocols, and encouraging open communication between providers. Additionally, patients should take an active role in their own care by asking questions and advocating for themselves when necessary. By taking these steps together, we can help reduce the number of preventable deaths due to medical errors and ensure that everyone receives safe and effective care.

It was very robotic and I felt like I wasn’t really helping people.”

This is a difficult realization to come to, but it is important to remember that there are still ways to help people even if the job itself does not feel fulfilling. For example, nurses can take the time to talk with their patients, listen to their concerns, and provide emotional support. They can also advocate for their patients when needed and ensure that they receive the best possible care. Additionally, nurses can use their knowledge and skills to educate patients on how to better manage their health conditions and make lifestyle changes that will improve their overall wellbeing.

So she decided to go back to school and become a naturopathic doctor. She graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, in 2011 and opened her own practice in 2012.

Today, Olszewski focuses on helping her patients achieve optimal health through natural therapies such as nutrition, lifestyle changes, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and acupuncture. She also offers counseling services to help her patients make positive changes in their lives.

“My goal is to empower my patients to take control of their own health,” Olszewski says. “I want them to understand that they have the power to heal themselves.”

I think that’s what really drove me to become a pharmacist,” she said.

The pharmacy school at the University of Florida was her first choice, and she was accepted in the fall of 2017. She graduated in May 2020 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

“I’m so proud of myself for being able to do it,” she said. “It was definitely hard work, but it was worth it.”

Now, as a pharmacist at Walgreens, she is able to use her knowledge and experience to help patients make informed decisions about their medications. She also works with doctors and other healthcare providers to ensure that patients are getting the best care possible.

“I’m really passionate about helping people understand their medications and how they can be used safely and effectively,” she said. “I want to make sure that everyone has access to the right medication at the right time.”

I had to figure out how to make money and so I decided to start my own business.

I started by researching the market and seeing what services were in demand. I also looked at what skills I had that could be used to provide those services. After doing some research, I realized that there was a need for virtual health coaching services. So, I decided to create an online platform where people could access health coaching services from me.

I then created a website and social media accounts to promote my business. I also reached out to potential clients through email campaigns and networking events. Finally, I invested in marketing materials such as flyers and brochures to help spread the word about my business.

Overall, it has been a challenging but rewarding experience starting my own business. It has taken a lot of hard work and dedication but it has been worth it in the end!

The Florida Department of Health has not issued any official guidance on the use of alternative treatments for COVID-19, but it does recommend that healthcare providers consider the potential benefits and risks associated with any treatment. The department also recommends that healthcare providers consult with their local health departments and other experts before making decisions about which treatments to use.

Medical Negligence Was the Norm

“It was really hard to see so many people in such a critical state.”

Olszewski worked long hours, often 12-hour shifts, and saw firsthand the toll the virus took on patients and their families. She also witnessed the incredible resilience of healthcare workers who were working tirelessly to save lives.

“I think it’s important for people to remember that nurses are not just there to take care of patients,” she says. “We’re also there to provide emotional support for them and their families. It’s a very difficult job, but it’s incredibly rewarding.”

Olszewski is grateful for the opportunity to help during this difficult time and hopes that her experience will inspire others to do the same. “I hope that my story will encourage more people to volunteer in whatever capacity they can,” she says. “It doesn’t have to be in a hospital setting—there are so many ways you can help out your community right now.”

The nurses soon realized that the military was not prepared for their arrival. The hospital they were sent to was understaffed and ill-equipped, with no beds or medical supplies. The nurses had to sleep on the floor and use their own supplies to treat patients. They also had to work long hours in dangerous conditions, often without proper protective gear.

The nurses quickly became suspicious of the military’s motives. It seemed like they were being used as a political tool rather than a medical one. The military was using them as a show of force, rather than actually providing medical care for those in need.

Eventually, the nurses’ suspicions were confirmed when it was revealed that the military had been using them as part of a propaganda campaign to boost morale at home and abroad. The nurses were outraged and demanded better treatment and more resources from the military.

Fortunately, their demands were eventually met and they received better working conditions and more resources for treating patients. This experience highlighted how important it is for healthcare professionals to be aware of their rights and speak up when something doesn’t seem right.

It’s difficult to say why the hospitals weren’t utilizing the nurses who were available. It could be due to a lack of communication between the hospitals and the nurses, or it could be due to a lack of resources or personnel at the hospitals. It could also be due to a lack of understanding of how best to utilize the nurses’ skills and experience. Whatever the reason, it is clear that more needs to be done in order to ensure that all available resources are being used effectively in times of crisis.

It was because the staff that we had was not properly trained.

The biggest challenge I faced at Elmhurst Hospital was trying to manage a chaotic environment with limited resources. The hospital was severely understaffed and the staff that were there were not properly trained. This made it difficult to provide quality care to patients in a timely manner. Additionally, the hospital lacked basic supplies such as masks and gloves, which further hindered our ability to provide adequate care. Despite these challenges, I worked hard to ensure that all patients received the best possible care and that their needs were met in a timely manner.

The nurse said she was “shocked” when she saw the staffing levels. She said that the hospital had been short-staffed for months, and that it was only getting worse. She said that the nurses were overworked and exhausted, and that they were not able to provide the care that patients needed. She also said that there were not enough supplies or equipment available to do their jobs properly.

It’s also important to do your own research and make sure you understand the risks and benefits of any procedure or medication you are prescribed. Finally, it’s important to be an active participant in your care and speak up if something doesn’t seem right.

“It’s a perfect storm for abuse to occur. You have a vulnerable population, and you have people in positions of power who are not being held accountable.”

The lack of family members present during the process created an environment where those in positions of power were able to take advantage of the vulnerable population. This is why it is so important that families are included in the process whenever possible, as they can provide support and protection for their loved ones. Additionally, having family members present can help ensure that any potential abuse or mistreatment is reported and addressed quickly.

So, it’s a great place to experiment and try new things. And that’s why we have so many startups in Silicon Valley. People are willing to take risks and try new things without fear of failure or repercussions.”

The best way to respond to this is to acknowledge the sadness and frustration of the situation. You can also emphasize that it is important to speak up when we see something wrong, and that we should all strive to create a more just and equitable society. Additionally, you can suggest ways for people to get involved in their communities or organizations that are working towards positive change.

Routine Ventilation Was a Death Sentence

At Elmhurst, Olszewski and his colleagues had already seen the same thing. “We were seeing a lot of patients who were coming in with COVID-19 and were being put on ventilators,” he says. “But we weren’t seeing a lot of them coming off.”

The team started to look for alternatives to mechanical ventilation, such as noninvasive ventilation (NIV) or high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC). NIV involves using a mask to deliver oxygen directly to the lungs without intubation, while HFNC delivers oxygen through two small tubes inserted into the nostrils. Both methods are less invasive than mechanical ventilation and can be used for milder cases of COVID-19.

Olszewski and his colleagues found that both NIV and HFNC could be effective in treating milder cases of COVID-19, allowing patients to avoid intubation and its associated risks. They also found that these treatments could help reduce mortality rates among COVID-19 patients. In fact, their research showed that patients treated with NIV or HFNC had significantly lower mortality rates than those treated with mechanical ventilation.

The team’s findings have since been published in several medical journals, including The New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet Respiratory Medicine. Their work has also been cited by the World Health Organization as evidence that noninvasive ventilation should be considered as an alternative to mechanical ventilation for milder cases of COVID-19.

The experience was a stark reminder of the importance of making sure that every patient is treated with respect and dignity, and that decisions are made based on what’s best for the patient. It also highlighted the need to ensure that all medical staff are properly trained in the use of ventilators and other life-saving equipment.

“I knew that if I was going to tell the story of what happened at Elmhurst, I needed to have proof. So, I started secretly videotaping my interactions with the staff and documenting everything that happened. It was a risk, but it was necessary in order to make sure that people would believe me.”

I was so embarrassed and ashamed. I felt like I had let them down, and that I had let myself down.

But they were so supportive and understanding. They reminded me that it wasn’t my fault, and that it’s not uncommon for nurses to experience burnout or compassion fatigue in their careers. They helped me realize that it was okay to take a break, and that I needed to take care of myself first before anything else.

Since then, I’ve been taking more time off work, getting enough sleep, eating healthy meals, exercising regularly, and spending quality time with friends and family. It’s made a huge difference in my mental health and wellbeing.”

It was really hard to watch, but it was also really inspiring to see her stand up for what she believed in and fight back against the people who were trying to discredit her. It made me realize that we all have a responsibility to speak out when we see injustice, even if it’s uncomfortable or unpopular.

The attorney told me that if I had video evidence, it would be much more powerful and could potentially help my case. She said that if I was able to get video of the incident, it would be a great way to prove my point and show the public what really happened. She also suggested that I look into getting a restraining order against the person who was harassing me, as this could provide additional protection.

I was told that if I didn’t like it, I could leave.

The nurse in this situation was clearly being silenced and threatened for advocating for her patients. This is a clear violation of the nurse’s rights and should not be tolerated. The nurse should have been supported in her efforts to advocate for her patients, rather than being threatened with termination. It is important that nurses feel empowered to speak up when they see something wrong or unethical happening in their workplace, and that they are not punished for doing so.

This is a clear violation of ethical standards. It is not acceptable to use spy glasses or any other type of surveillance equipment to record people without their knowledge or consent. This could be considered an invasion of privacy and could lead to legal action against you.

I was scared, but I was also determined to do the right thing and make sure that these people were taken care of.

The nurse’s actions have been widely condemned by the medical community, and she has since been fired from her job. The hospital has also launched an investigation into the incident.

Nurses Fired for Protecting Patients

Nurses are often the first line of defense when it comes to patient care, and they have a unique understanding of the practical details that can make a difference in patient outcomes. They are also more likely to be aware of any changes in the patient’s condition or environment that could affect their care. Physicians, on the other hand, may have a better understanding of the science behind medical treatments and procedures, but they may not be as familiar with the day-to-day realities of providing care. By working together, nurses and physicians can ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Nurses are often the first line of defense when it comes to patient care and they have a unique perspective on what works and what doesn’t. They can provide valuable insight into how to improve processes, protocols, and treatments. Additionally, nurses can help identify potential problems before they become serious issues. By listening to their input, healthcare organizations can ensure that their patients receive the best possible care.

They felt powerless to do anything about it.

This is a very concerning situation, and it’s important that nurses are given the respect they deserve and that their voices are heard. It’s also important for healthcare organizations to ensure that their policies and procedures are being followed so that patient safety is not compromised.

The experience has been difficult for her, but she says it has also made her stronger.

“I’m not going to let anyone take away my voice,” she says. “I’m going to keep speaking out and I’m going to keep fighting for what I believe in.”

Medical Experimentation by Residents Killed Patients

The lack of compassion and empathy from the doctors was compounded by the fact that many of the patients were elderly and had limited English proficiency. Olszewski says that this made it difficult for them to communicate their needs or understand what was happening to them. “It was really hard for them to understand why they were being treated in such a way,” she says. “They didn’t know what was going on, and they didn’t have anyone to explain it to them.”

“They would come in and say, ‘This is what I want to do,’ and the nurses were like, ‘That’s not how we do it here.'”

The lack of supervision was a major problem for Elmhurst Hospital. Without experienced doctors overseeing the residents’ decisions, mistakes were made that could have been avoided. In addition, the lack of communication between the residents and nursing staff led to tension and mistrust. This created an environment where patient care suffered.

This is a very concerning situation and it is important that the residents are not allowed to interfere with the medical care of patients. It is important for the hospital staff to ensure that all medical personnel, including residents, are properly trained in how to safely and correctly use medical equipment. Additionally, it may be necessary to implement policies or procedures that limit access to certain areas or equipment in order to prevent unauthorized interference with patient care.

Olszewski believes that the lack of oversight and accountability in nursing homes during the pandemic created an environment where residents were treated as guinea pigs. He believes that this lack of oversight allowed for experimentation with treatments and protocols, which ultimately led to unnecessary deaths. He also believes that the lack of liability created a situation where residents were not monitored or cared for properly, leading to further suffering and death.

Lack of Segregation Led to Unnecessary Deaths

This would have prevented the spread of the virus to other patients and staff. Additionally, proper protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and gowns should have been provided to all healthcare workers. Furthermore, proper hand hygiene protocols should have been implemented and enforced. Finally, regular testing of both patients and staff should have been conducted in order to identify any new cases early on.

Yes, this is true. Rooming infected and noninfected patients together can increase the risk of disease transmission to noninfected patients. It is important to take precautions such as wearing protective equipment, using separate rooms for infected and noninfected patients, and following proper hand hygiene protocols when caring for both types of patients.

The hospital was also severely understaffed, with nurses and doctors having to work long hours and take on more patients than they could handle. This led to a lack of communication between staff members, which further exacerbated the situation.

The lack of resources meant that there were not enough beds or ventilators for all the patients. As a result, some patients had to be turned away or sent home without proper care. This put them at risk of contracting the virus and spreading it to their families and communities.

Finally, there was a general sense of hopelessness among the staff due to the overwhelming number of cases and the fact that many patients were not expected to survive. This created an atmosphere where people felt like nothing they did mattered anymore.

COVID-Negative Patients Placed on Ventilation

“The patient was admitted to the hospital with high blood glucose and was placed on a ventilator. He tested negative for COVID-19, but the hospital staff listed him as positive and treated him as such. This is an egregious violation of medical ethics and a clear example of how the pandemic has been used to justify unethical practices.”

“He was in a coma for about two weeks and then he died.”

The coroner’s report said the cause of death was “unascertained”.

Ms O’Neill said she had been told by doctors that her son’s death was due to an overdose of medication.

But she said she had never been given any explanation as to why he had been given so many drugs.

It’s a really difficult situation for him and his family. He’s in a place where he doesn’t want to be, and he’s being restrained against his will. It’s understandable that he would be anxious and scared, and it’s heartbreaking to think of him going through this alone without any family or friends there to support him. We need to do better as a society to make sure that people in these situations are treated with respect and dignity, not just as patients but as human beings.

The nurse said she was told by her supervisor that the resident had been given a sedative, but she believes he was given too much.

“I think it’s just negligence,” she said. “It’s not like they didn’t know what to do. They knew what to do, they just didn’t do it.”

New York Had Adequate Resources That Went Unused

The fellow should have consulted with the patient’s family and/or the attending physician before making such a decision. If there was no DNR order in place, then it would be appropriate to attempt resuscitation.

“The hospitals were getting paid more for COVID-19 patients than they were for non-COVID-19 patients. So, it was in their financial interest to treat everyone as if they had the virus, even if they didn’t.”

This led to a situation where many noninfected patients were put on mechanical ventilation, which is an expensive and invasive procedure that can cause serious complications. In some cases, this resulted in death. Olszewski believes that this practice was unethical and should not have been allowed to continue. He also believes that the government should have done more to ensure that hospitals were not taking advantage of the pandemic for financial gain.

That’s a lot of money,” said the former employee.

The former employee also said that Elmhurst Hospital was not providing adequate care for COVID-19 patients, and that many of them were dying due to lack of proper treatment. The hospital has denied these allegations, saying that they are providing the best possible care for their patients.

The Navy ship Comfort was set up to provide care for COVID-19 patients, and it is unacceptable that people who were not infected with the virus were admitted and charged exorbitant fees. This is a clear example of price gouging and should be investigated by the appropriate authorities. It is also important to ensure that all medical facilities are held accountable for their actions and that those responsible for such unethical practices are brought to justice.

It is possible that the financial incentive was a factor in why the patients were packed in like sardines. It is likely that the hospital or healthcare facility was trying to maximize their profits by not utilizing external resources, even if it meant compromising patient care. This could be an example of people putting profit over patient care, which is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

Death Rate Plummeted Once Treatment Protocols Were Exposed

The death rate at Elmhurst Hospital dropped significantly after Olszewski’s undercover videos started making the rounds on social media. The videos highlighted the hospital’s lack of resources and staff, as well as its inadequate response to the pandemic. This increased public awareness of the situation and put pressure on the hospital to take action. As a result, Elmhurst was able to secure additional resources and personnel, which helped reduce the death rate.

The interview focused on the importance of public health measures such as social distancing, wearing masks, and handwashing. Dr. Birx discussed the need for people to take personal responsibility for their own health and safety during the pandemic. She also highlighted the importance of data-driven decision making in order to effectively respond to the virus. Additionally, she emphasized that everyone should be aware of their own risk factors and take steps to protect themselves and others from infection.

Dr. Birx’s interview was widely praised for its clarity and insight into the pandemic response. Her message resonated with many viewers, who felt empowered by her words to take action against COVID-19. The interview has been credited with helping to reduce daily death rates in New York City hospitals, as well as inspiring people around the world to take preventive measures against the virus.

“It showed that the city was taking the issue seriously and that they were willing to make changes in order to save lives.â€

That means that they had been put on a ventilator and then taken off of it. He said that none of them had survived.

I think now, they’re being more careful about who they’re admitting to the hospital and how many people are being put on the ventilators. They’re also doing more research into treatments and medications that can help patients survive and recover from COVID-19. I think this is a good thing because it will hopefully save more lives in the long run.

This is a very valid question. It is understandable that the medical staff would be hesitant to try alternative treatments, as they may not have been proven to work in the past. However, if the ventilators were not working, it would make sense to explore other options. It is important for medical professionals to remain open-minded and willing to explore new treatments when traditional methods are not successful.

Government Should Not Interfere in Medical Decisions

The tragedy is that the medical establishment and the media have been so resistant to the idea of using hydroxychloroquine with zinc, despite its potential benefits. This has resulted in many people not getting access to this potentially life-saving treatment. It is also concerning that some doctors have been reluctant to prescribe it due to fear of backlash from the medical establishment and the media.

It is indeed incomprehensible that hydroxychloroquine has been so maligned, especially considering its long history of safe use. It is also concerning that pharmacy boards have refused to fill prescriptions for the drug, as this could be denying patients access to a potentially life-saving treatment. It is important that more research is conducted into the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID-19, and that any decisions about its use are based on evidence rather than speculation or hearsay.

I think it’s important to give people the right to choose what they want to do.”

Olszewski says he has seen patients who have had success with high-dose IV vitamin C, and he believes that more research should be done on the potential benefits of this treatment. He also believes that more research should be done on other alternative treatments, such as homeopathy and acupuncture.

“I think it’s important for us to look at all of these different treatments and see if there is any benefit,” Olszewski says. “We need to look at the evidence and make sure that we are making decisions based on science and not just anecdotal evidence.”

It is absolutely true that patients should always be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of politics or profit. Autonomy and patient rights are essential components of healthcare, and they should never be disregarded. Healthcare providers must always prioritize the safety and well-being of their patients above all else.

The MATH+ protocol is a combination of treatments that have been found to be effective in treating severe cases of COVID-19. It includes high doses of vitamin C, steroids, thiamine, and heparin. The protocol is designed to reduce inflammation and improve oxygenation in the lungs. It has been shown to reduce mortality rates in patients with severe COVID-19 symptoms. Additionally, it can help prevent progression to more serious forms of the disease.

I plan on posting the update to the video soon, and I will include a detailed description of how to use nebulized hydrogen peroxide, as well as any potential side effects or risks associated with it. I will also provide links to additional resources for those who are interested in learning more about this treatment. Additionally, I will include a section on how to find a qualified practitioner who can administer the treatment safely and effectively.

Yes, the video is very emotional and the nurse does use some profane language. The nurse in the video is speaking out about medical mismanagement and how it has impacted her personally. She speaks of how she was forced to work long hours with no breaks, how she was not given proper protective equipment, and how she was not given enough time to properly care for her patients. She also speaks of the emotional toll that this has taken on her and other healthcare workers. The video serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of speaking out against medical mismanagement and the need for better working conditions for healthcare workers.
